During your vacation you just have to indulge yourself to a perfect day in Treptow-Köpenick, it could look like this: Go to a café where you have never been before for a delicious breakfast in the morning. Then take a walk through the old town center and visit the palace and one of the large number of interesting museums. In the afternoon you might stop for a delicious piece of cake. And how about going to the theater or maybe to the cinema in the evening. Afterwards maybe go to a pub or a bar for a nightcap. Make your cultural experience!

"Köpenick" Palace
The baroque water palace of the Prussins is located on an island in the river „Spree“ close to the Berlin-Köpenick old town center. It was built for king Friedrich I. and hosts today’s museum of art.

Museums and Galleries
The museum of art at Köpenick Palace is the finest of the region. But also the museum at the historic water works and the ambitioned museum of local history as well as special museums and galleries are well-worth visiting.

Stages and Theaters
Berlin’s south-east accommodates a couple of theaters from „Figurentheater Grashüpfer“ (puppet theater), the “Stadtheater Cöpenick” and the “Schlossplatztheater” to the well-known “Kultur Arena Treptow”.

Six cinemas offer a wide range of programs. Besides the large ones, smaler cinemas with special repertoires have established themselves in the attractive southeast of Berlin. 

Cafés and Restaurants
Even gourmets get their money worth in Treptow-Köpenick. Stop for a bite at one of the homely or extraordinary cafés and restaurants. We have a lot of them at the Treptow Park, in Old Köpenick and in Friedrichshagen etc.

Berliners like to party with their guests and sometimes the whole night through; f. e. in clubs and bars. A couple of them are located in Berlin’s south-east between “Treptower Park” and “Müggelsee”.
